041909 Pics and Update

I've been traveling.  I went to camps Taji and BIAP.  I do not like to travel.  For the most part, if you've seen one military camp in Iraq you've seen them all.  A T-wall is one of the concrete walls here.  Their purpose is two fold. One to prevent damage and two to contain the destruction.  While at Taji I played 'Texas-Hold-em' and we played a game called 'dude or chick'.  Basically it's a game where you look at pics of Army people in uniform (and usually sunglasses) and try to figure out if it's a 'dude or a chick'.  I fared about 50-50 as there are ALL types in the Army (and some tough looking chicks!)  Also I gave a coin to a co-worker at BIAP since my boss didn't want to make the trip to do so.  Coins are Army mementos give for a job or performance well done.  I've got a few an it's great to get one when not expecting.  People also ask me about how I expect to lose my job this year now that Obams is 'closing all the bases.'  Well, not every base is closing and I'm certainly surprised at the amount of building that goes on here in Iraq.  The bunk house where I stayed at BIAP (military side of Baghdad Internation Airport) is a just an open aired sleeping area.  The beds suck, you get only one flimsey blanket and there are generally 'azzh*oles' who keep their lights on all night long.  Needless to say I was not a happy camper there.
